The readers’ attention will not falter, that’s for sure, among the shark-ridden rocks of Isola della Nebbia (Misty Island). Our (far more frail that Tex and Co.’s) nerves will be hard-tested in the Mexican swamps, haunted by the Stirpe dell’Abisso (Progeny of the Abyss), the presence of the wise Morisco – and the gloomy Eusebio – notwithstanding. There’s a chance that our trust in the moral uprightness of the brave Native riders will waver, when we’ll find out that treachery is sneaking through the Apache Reservation: a false accusation caused innocent victims, while someone is scheming to join forces with the ruthless Netdahe raiders. A chilling shiver will run down our spines, when we’ll learn that an old and mysterious castle from Old Europe has been rebuilt from the ground up in a faraway valley in the Southwest. And what about the escape from Yuma of a notorious young killer, with the help of his siblings, just as lethal as he is? Or about the bloody revenge of the Comanche people, led by a warrior who came back from the dead? A shady plot will take us along the Mississippi River, on a floating gambling house, while the war drums will echo once again in the lands of the Utes!
No need to be afraid, though: brave and self-assured as usual, Tex will be on our side, one month after the other, and he’ll be determined to let truth and justice prevail again!
