We anticipate another year full of adventure for Saguaro, who at first will be involved in some “away” stories (one of them will take him to Laos, of all places, forcing him to experience again the horrors of war). Thorn will be back soon to the Great Reservation, where winds of turmoil are blowing, aggravated by a critical, to say the least, state of economic affairs.

In this difficult and tense climate, the fates of the two main adversaries of our Navajo Agent, Nastas Begay and Cobra Ray, will cross in an unexpected way, forcing Saguaro to make a problematic choice. Kai and Jude, too, will have a decisive role in it, and their humanity and personal stories will help the emotional growth of our hero.

But one thing will mainly rule the new narrative cycle — doubt. Saguaro will begin to feel uneasy about his role inside the Bureau. He’ll learn that he is involved in a dangerous game where he’s nothing but a pawn.

And the fact will force him to look at the world in a new way.
