While the first Orfani albums of the year begin to show the entire series’ hand, revealing the multiple faces of the intricate saga orchestrated by Recchioni & Mammucari, in Fall 2014 we’ll witness the completion of the first narrative arc of the series.

We will see the end of the war against the ghostly alien entities that caused a complete disaster on Earth, and we’ll discover a shocking truth that has been concealed for too long. Jonas, Sam, Juno, Rey & Felix will have to face their inner demons, and will strenuously clash in the name of the things they believe in. You, the readers, will choose which side you’ll be on. The art will be provided by Luca Maresca, Werther Dell’Edera, Giorgio Santucci, Alessandro Bignamini, Davide Gianfelice, Gigi Cavenago & Matteo Cremona. Then, the last issue of the first mini-series and the first one of the second will be illustrated by the co-creator of the series, Emiliano Mammucari.
Mammucari will have the task to lead Orfani towards its second, unpredictable season, that will take us to a narrative dimension centered around brand-new themes and scenarios. And a new “gang” of artists is on its way, with big names like Carlo Ambrosini, Luca Genovese and Paolo Bacilieri, just to mention a few. The texts will be supplied by Roberto Recchioni, along with a “new entry”— Mauro Uzzeo.
