The three-part miniseries by Gianfranco Manfredi (the creator of our recent Adam Wild) with art by the late Giuseppe Barbati and by Bruno Ramella, will take you back to 1920s New York, to follow the adventures of a cop, Jack Sloane, a tough guy who fights a no-holds-barred battle against crime. Jack has a soft spot for Brenda, an attractive and (at least at first sight) naïve girl, who is in turn attracted by Mister Frolic. This unusual character is an illusionist, who’s always able to charm the people who visit Coney Island’s amusement park: a “strange” person, and there’s a secret hidden behind his magic tricks...
